another update

Well, hello to anyone that actually reads these journals of mine. A lot of things have happened in my life recently and I just wanted to update those of you who watch me on here.

I've mentioned this on Tumblr quite a few times, but about a month ago, on April 13th, my mother passed away in her sleep. Emotionally, it's been really hard on me and my brothers, and I'm still sort of in a state of denial over it, because it happened really fast. I'm still really worried how my life is going to be. I had a very close relationship with my mother and I really really miss her, but a lot of people have helped us out though, so for that I'm grateful.

Now, on to art. I've been using the same scanner for the past 4 years, and on top of that, it was already a really old one given to me. Lately it's been acting weird and I think it might break down at any moment. I don't have a job at the moment, and my financial situation isin't entirely good right now, especially because of whats happened lately. I really want to buy a new scanner, but it may take me a while before I can. I plan on looking for a job within the next couple months. So, what I want to say is that if it does break down entirely, I'll let you guys know. I may not be able to post art for a while if it does, but at least it's still kind of working at the moment!

Now, for some good news. As of today I have officially graduated as the class of 2015! I am done with highschool! and it's such a relief to be done with it omg. I've been looking into colleges and stuff and I think I have an idea of what I want to do. I'll make a new journal update once things get moving along.

I kind of started rambling on, sorry if this got repetitive.
